Spicy Halloumi Open Faced Sandwich
Make sandwiches Tre Spicy - Slightly salty and crispy, sautéed halloumi slices make a deliciously simple lunch or dinner recipe. Pair it with a toasted grainy bread, pickled jalapenos, tomato and mashed avocado and you’ve got it made… Tre Spicy!

Ingredients:
1 pkg (200g) Tre Stelle® Haloumi, cut into ¼” slices 1-2 small avocados ½ lime, juiced 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, finely chopped (optional) 2 slices tomato, cut into halves 4 slices pickled jalapeno slices (depending on your spice preference) Salt and freshly ground black pepper 2 slices grainy fresh bread, sliced and toasted
Instructions:
In a large non-stick skillet over medium high heat sauté both sides of the halloumi slices until golden. Mash avocado and add lime juice and cilantro (optional), season with salt and pepper. Spread avocado onto toasted bread, top with a tomato slice, halloumi and jalapeno
