Sautéed Bananas with a Nutmeg Infused Tre Stelle® Ricotta Cream
Nutmeg is the only tropical fruit that is a source of spice. It’s flavor notes are aromatically warm and balances well with the Ricotta and mini caramelized bananas.

Ingredients:
6 fresh mini bananas or 3 regular bananas 1 1/2 cups | 375 mL demerara sugar or brown sugar 1 cup | 250 mL Tre Stelle® Ricotta 1/4 cup | 50 mL demerara sugar 2 tbsp | 25 mL table cream 1/4 tsp | 1 mL nutmeg
Instructions:
Peel bananas and slice in two lengthwise, coat well with sugar. In a large non-stick skillet over medium heat cook bananas until sugar caramelizes and sticks to fruit, be careful not to burn. Serve with nutmeg infused Ricotta cream. Ricotta Cream: In a small bowl stir together Ricotta, sugar, cream and nutmeg. Refrigerate until ready to use.
