A favourite among Swiss-type cheeses, Emmental Cheese has a distinctive mellow flavour with sweet and hazelnut accents that grow more pronounced with age. True to its heritage, this medium-hard cheese with its distinctive holes is excellent in fondue and au gratin dishes, or enjoyed on its own with breads and fruit. Savoury but not too sharp, Emmental is also delicious on sandwiches or melted on a burger.
