Tre Stelle® Halloumi Appetizer With Pear Crostini Recipe

Instructions

• • Heat a non-stick skillet to medium high; add 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • Add leeks and sauté until soft; add pears, thyme, peppercorns and sea salt
  • Continue to sauté until pears begin to soften; remove from heat and set aside
  • Heat a non-stick skillet to medium high; add remaining tablespoon of olive oil
  • Add cubes of Halloumi and toss in skillet to brown all sides; remove from heat and set aside
  • Toss browned Halloumi cubes with pear/leek mixture
  • Top equally onto baguette slices and drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with hazelnuts
  • Switch it up! – Use Tre Stelle Halloumi as a base for the bread, cut Halloumi Cheese into 8 equal slices, sautée in 1 tbsp olive oil in a large non-stick skillet until brown on each side, top with pear/leek mixture, maple syrup and hazelnuts
