Cornish Game Hen Stuffed with Sausage and Tre Stelle® Grana Padano

A little hen goes a long way in this recipe which is impressive for guests or that special occasion.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a medium skillet, add sausage meat and cook until browned.
Remove from heat and drain off excess fat.
To the same skillet, add 2 tbsp of the butter, onions and mushrooms; cook until softened.
Remove from heat, place in a medium bowl and allow to cool; add fresh breadcrumbs, Grana Padano Cheese, rosemary, season with salt and pepper.Lightly stuff each Cornish hen with stuffing; close openings with skewers.
Place hens in a roasting pan and bake for 1 hour.
Baste periodically with remaining melted butter.
Remove skewers before serving.
Serve and enjoy!
